New Luminox Scott Cassell Special Edition Deep Dive Automatic

In support of the non-profit marine conservation projects of Mr Scott Cassell, Luminox brand ambassador and world renowned ocean environmentalist, Luminox introduces the latest model of the Scott Cassell Special Edition Deep Dive Automatic watch. Created in collaboration with Mr Scott Cassell himself, a portion of proceeds from the sales of the Luminox Scott Cassell Deep Dive Automatic model no. 1526 will support two of Mr Cassell’s non-profit organisations in the USA – Undersea Voyager Project which utilises manned submersibles to educate students on marine conservation, and Sea Wolves Unlimited whose mission is to combat poaching of endangered marine species.

Mr Scott Cassell is a principal investigator of the Humboldt squid in the US marine science community and has been recognized as the first ocean explorer to capture video footage of a giant squid in its natural environment. He has accumulated over 13,000 hours as a mixed-gas commercial diver and is a US Coast Guard-qualified submersible pilot, counterterrorism combat diver for the US Armed Forces Special Ops and MedEvac Flight Instructor in the US Army.

The Luminox Scott Cassell Deep Dive Automatic watch has all the features that professional divers on a mission would consider essential, including a sturdy 316L steel case, a professional-grade ratcheting unidirectional dive bezel, patent-pending bezel locking device that doubles as a crown protector, 500-meter water resistance, and a clear, high- contrast dial with Luminox Light Technology (LLT) that glows for up to 25 years regardless of condition, allowing the watch to stay constantly visible even in the murkiest depths.

The black dial is marked with the Luminox logo and the Sea Wolves emblem. The case is black PVD stainless steel and the case back depicts Cassell’s submarine, notable to many. The integrated polyurethane strap comes with an extension for use over a wetsuit. Each watch is individually numbered and comes in a specially-designed, water resistant gift box which can be used to store the diver’s mobile phone, camera or other personal gear.
