China?s Top 10 Trading Partners
The trade volume of the Chinese mainland hit a record high of $4.16 trillion in 2013, overtaking the United States’ $3.91 trillion to become the world's largest trading nation. China Daily reports that the country also posted a better-than-expected trade volume in January 2014.
According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on Jan 10, 2014, China’s top 10 trading partners, based on total trade (imports plus exports), are:
1. The United States: $521 billion
2. Hong Kong: $401 billion
3. Japan: $312.55 billion
4. The Republic of Korea: $274.24 billion
5. Taiwan: $197.28 billion
6. Germany: $161.56 billion
7. Australia: $136.37 billion
8. Malaysia: $106.07 billion
9. Brazil: $90.27 billion
10. Russia: $89.21 billion
