Faststream Announces Two Promotions

Faststream, a global leader in oil and gas, maritime and offshore recruiting and staffing, announced today that Josh Hecht has been named business manager for the company’s Marine, Oil & Gas and Offshore divisions in The Americas, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean. 

In his new role, Hecht will be responsible for expanding the company’s relationships with current and prospective employment partners and individuals while overseeing strategy related to securing new, large-scale, global and domestic opportunities for the Marine and Oil & Gas teams.

Hecht joined Faststream in 2010 and most recently served as manager of the marine division in Fort Lauderdale. He has more than eight years of experience in business development, leadership and recruiting, all of which he will utilize in his new role.

Elida Calero has been named manager for the company’s Maritime Division in the Americas covering Marine, Commercial and Technical shipping teams. 

In this role, Calero will be responsible for providing, business development and operational excellence to Faststream’s Maritime clients across The Americas, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean both corporate and individually.

Calero joined Faststream in 2010 and most recently served as manager for U.S. Shipping operations. She has over 15 years of sales and leadership experience and is well known and respected throughout the industry and community.
