Pirates Release Chinese Cargo Ship, MV YUAN XIANG
On Wednesday May 8, pirates released the MV YUAN XIANG from their control. The Chinese cargo vessel had been held for 207 day after being hijacked in November 13th 2010, approximately 650 nautical miles East of Salalah.
EU NAVFOR reports that the crew of 29 Chinese s heading to a safe port, but no further information regarding their condition is known at this time.
