Do You Know the Definition of NPDES, MARPOL, VGB and NOI?

If not, you need to take the MITAGS-PMI seminar covering the latest updates on MARPOL, U.S. Clean Air Act, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Pollution Discharge Elimination System and the Vessel General Permit (VGP) for overboard discharge...

MITAGS will be hosting a two-day seminar designed to keep the marine community abreast of the rapid changes in marine environmental regulations. Day 1 provides a detailed overview of changes in both domestic and international regulations. Day 2 focuses on how to develop and submit an EPA “vessel general permit.” The VGP is now required for most vessels operating in U.S. waters. Additionally, ample time will be available to help answer operational questions about implementing these new regulations. The seminar will be especially valuable to tug and barge operators, as well.
