[Watch] Importance of The Maritime Labor Convention 2006

The Council of American Master Mariners held its annual convention in New Orleans, LA. Maritime TV covered the March 30- April 1 event and is pleased to share Dr. John A.C. Cartner’s presentation on the Maritime Labor Convention 2006.

In this presentation Cartner emphasizes the importance of the Maritime Labor Convention for those operating maritime vessels and the maritime industry as a whole. Additionally, Cartner examines the history of the organizations and policies that gave rise to the convention.

Dr. John A.C. Cartner is a graduate of the US Merchant Marine Academy and has an extensive background practicing both domestic and international maritime law. He is a frequent contributor to Maritime TV and has his own featured series entitled Conversations with Cartner.
