Chairman of Lamor Group, Bent Larsen, Passed Away

October 7th: Lamor Group is sad to announce the sudden death of its Chairman, Mr. Bent Larsen, who died following a sudden attack during his vacation in Sicily in the early hours of Monday 6th October 2008, aged 51 years.


For many years, Bent Larsen served as President and CEO of Lamor Group, transferring about a year ago from the operational management of the Group to serve as full-time Chairman of the Board.

On Tuesday, Lamor Group organized an information meeting to the personnel in different locations and held a silent memorial service in his memory. Today, all Lamor offices across the world have the flag at half-mast.

Bent Larsen is survived by his wife, four children, one grandchild, mother, brother and sisters, friends and colleagues around the world. He will be sadly missed.
