Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft said on Wednesday it has resumed oil supplies to the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk, having completed a repair of a leaked pipeline, and will resume loadings on Thursday.

Igor Dyomin, a spokesman for Transneft, told Reuters that the flows were restarted at around noon.

"The port will start loading a tanker on Thursday, when the oil will arrive," he said.

The pipeline in the Volga region of Volgograd leaked on Sunday. The spokesman has said there was no environmental impact from the incident.
