Nico International Floating Dock Returns to Service

Nico International announced that, after completing a major overhaul and refit, their 2,000-tonne lifting capacity floating dock will be returned to service in Abu Dhabi starting from September 2014. 

The recently completed work, all carried out in according to class requirements, included a significant amount of steel replacement, complete overhaul of all mechanical equipment, including both cranes, electrical refit and internal and external hull treatment. 

The dock can accommodate vessels up to 80m Length, 18.3m Breadth and 2,000 tonne displacement.

The Floating Dock and workshop facility will be located in Abu Dhabi New Free Port and will offer a full range of ship repair services along with large berthing capacity alongside.
