AET Goes Live on ShipServ TradeNet

One of the world?s leading petroleum tanker operators chooses TradeNet platform for its e-procurement activities.

ShipServ, the leading marine and offshore e-marketplace, has built further on its trusted position among tanker owners and operators with the signing of AET.

AET signed with ShipServ on the strength of its pedigree in the tanker market, and was attracted by the ability to standardise transactions with all its suppliers and avoid manual duplication.

The global company’s procurement activities are based in Singapore and responsible for around 60 in-house managed vessels including VLCCs, Suezmax and Aframax tankers.

AET will connect to ShipServ through its current ABS Enterprise system software suite.

ShipServ now has over 15 tanker owners and operators trading on ShipServ TradeNet.

Major tanker owners and operators trading on ShipServ include AP Moller-Maersk, Teekay Shipping, BP Shipping, Chevron Tankers, Nordic Tankers and OSG Shipmanagement.

AET also joins a growing band of Asian shipowners and operators that are currently using ShipServ which includes, BW Fleet management, Epic Shipmanagement, MSI Shipmanagement, Misuga, K Line Shipmanagement, Prisco and Seacor Marine.
