2009 International Maritime eLearning Symposium

Two workshops added to the 2009 International Maritime eLearning Conference.

Online Crowd Management and Crisis Management Certification courses are scheduled for this year's conference workshops.

Experience first hand the only STCW Level online training available today. Attendees will have the opportunity to take the Crowd Management and Crisis Management and Human Behavior courses from their work places or homes before the start of the conference. Then attend the Tuesday afternoon workshop to take their final examinations and receive their STCW Certifications.

Design and Implementation of an STCW-Approved Distance Learning System

Join Capt. Dan Noonan, Program Manager, CMES Distance Learning Systems, for a detailed explanation and discussion on putting together an STCW-Approved Distance Learning System. Topics will include the Design Criteria, a step-by-step Technical blueprint, how the different parts of the Distance Learning Systems integrate, followed by a Question and Answer round-table. Workshop Attendees will leave with a copy of a Port State Authority Approved Distance Learning Manual and the knowledge to implement it in their training environment.
