French Offshore Vessel Captured by Pirates

The Bourbon Leda, an FSIV (Fast Supply Intervention Vessel) and her 9 crew members, 5 Nigerians, 2 Ghanaians, 1 Cameroonian and 1 Indonesian, were seized off the coast of Bonny in Nigeria.

On Sunday 4th January, BOURBON received a call enabling it to make contact with the Captain of Bourbon Leda who confirmed that all crew members are in good health. The company kept the families of the crewmembers informed.

On January 7th the company announced the crew had been released in good condition.
