Okskaya Sudoverf Delivers Tank Barge
On May 17, 2018, Okskaya Sudoverf Shipyard (a company of UCL Holding) delivered the first non-self-propelled tank barge of Project ROB20, Belmax 1, to the customer, PAO STLC.
Non-self-propelled tank barges of Project ROB20 are intended for transportation of petroleum products with a flashpoint of 610oC and above. With their double sides and double bottoms the vessels feature an improved level of environmental friendliness. The barges will be operated on the Belaya, Kama and Volga rivers.
The contract for construction of the barges was signed on October 31, 2017 with the keel of the first barge laid on November 22, 2017.
