Ocean Installer, a Norwegian subsea company with global operations, is working closely with Edenhouse Solutions as it undergoes its digital transformation journey.

Edenhouse has guided the company through a system conversion, moving it from an existing on-premise ECC system to SAP’s next-generation ERP solution, S/4HANA. This will deliver such benefits as live data for reporting and analytics, embedded analytics in transactional processes, increased data processing speeds and a user interface that is simpler and more intuitive.

Following the migration, Ocean Installer will be able to make more informed decisions and increase the efficiency of its business processes. It is also perfectly placed to leverage the latest innovations and technologies – both now and in the future.

As a leading U.K. implementor of SAP solutions, Edenhouse has managed the technical aspects of migration and conversion activities, as well as providing expertise and support in functional areas such as HR, finance and logistics.

Phil Johannesen, SAP Manager at Ocean Installer, comments “We couldn’t have asked for much more from an SAP project, which is testament to Edenhouse’s commitment and efforts throughout. Across the business, we now feel that we’re in a perfect position to make the most of the latest technologies and use them to drive our future growth and success.”

Commenting on the project, Paul Devlin, Chief Commercial Officer at Edenhouse, said “Delivering to a promise is at the core of everything we do at Edenhouse – it’s in our DNA. We are delighted to have supported Ocean Installer through their digital transformation, powered by SAP’s S/4HANA. It’s certainly an exciting time for the business and we’re looking forward to developing our relationship further as we join them in realizing the full benefits that migration can bring.”
