AVEVA Sponsors ARC World Industry Forum

AVEVA joins senior industry leaders to explore key issues and develop winning strategies 

AVEVA Inc. (LSE: AVV), will once again exhibit as a Gold Sponsor of the prestigious 2012 ARC World Industry Forum, to be held February 6-9, at the Renaissance Orlando Hotel in Orlando, FL. This year’s Forum theme is “Transforming Industry through New Processes and Technologies”.

The ARC Forum is a highly respected technology conference for senior management in the process plant and energy industries.  The ARC Forum provides a place to learn about best practices and strategies that can help to achieve operational excellence. Ben Hewitt, Engineering Systems Engineer for AMEC Engineering in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK, will present on the challenges surrounding the collection, management and deployment of asset information that is created and used in the design, build and modification of capital assets.

Hewitt will bring his expertise in visualization tools and point cloud laser scanning solutions. His presentation will have a particularly strong focus on research and development of the latest tools that the industry has to offer, such as AVEVA Laser Modeller and AVEVA IntelliLaser.

AVEVA Opens New Office in Genoa, Italy

Sales and support offered for all AVEVA products and solutions

AVEVA (LSE:AVV), announced it has opened a new office in Genoa, Italy to support the growing Italian market. The office will offer sales and support for all AVEVA’s products and solutions, as well as hosting training courses and customer events.

“AVEVA’s product portfolios, particularly our Engineering & Design solutions in the plant and marine markets, has seen a significant growth in demand across Italy over the last year”, said Daniel Gennaro, Country Manager – Italy, AVEVA. “In order to expand our services and support capabilities we required a space that reflects our rapidly expanding market position and will enable us to realise our growth objectives. The new office enables us to host key customers and prospects due to its locality, as well as the ability to offer essential product and solution services, such as onsite training”.
