Shiptec China 2010, Marine Tradeshow of the Year in Northeast Asia

The beautiful coastal city, Dalian will meet its biennial international maritime tradeshow – Shiptec China, from 26 to 28 October 2010 at Dalian World Expo Center, which will take the attention of international maritime community.
Shiptec China covers a large range of exhibits including shipbuilding, vessels, ports, shipping, marine engineering, marine technology, marine services etc. and will intensively demonstrate the latest marine technology and achievements. Seminars and forums on varied topics will also be hosted alongside with the main event.
Participation
As of August 23, a total of 680 booths have been registered by 302 domestic and international exhibitors, i.e. at 80 % of the goal accomplished. Six national pavilions will be located on the fair ground, including China, Korea, Norway, Denmark, Japan and Finland. Korean Pavilion, consisting of 82 booths from a total of 45 companies, will be the largest international country pavilion again. STX Business Group will once again bring its members to attend the fair. We will also have renowned local shipyards like CSIC, COSCO Shipbuilding, Rongsheng Shipbuilding and leading marine equipment manufacturers with us this year. Six of the world’s leading classification societies have been registered, including China Classification Society(CCS), Germanischer Lloyd(GL), Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK), Korean Register of Shipping(KR), RINA, and Det Norske Veritas(DNV).
Growth
Shiptec China has been growing dramatically over the past years. Its previous edition in 2008 accommodated a total number 871 stands. The exhibition has achieved continuous growth by 30% since 2004. Shiptec China is widely recognized as a biennial marine event and the most influential in Northeast Asia.
Conferences & Seminars
Shiptec China 2010 is also promoting itself as a not-to-miss event with its concurrent conferences and seminars. The distinguished speakers will address the senior forum named the Development of Marine Industry in the Low Carbon Economy (LCE) and Post-Crisis Period.
