• Michelle Gibson has been promoted to Human Resources Coordinator of SeaArk Marine, Inc. Michelle began as temporary secretary/receptionist in April 2003, becoming full-time in May 2003. She was promoted to executive secretary to the Human Resources’ Director in March 2006. In her new capacity of HR Coordinator, she is accountable for all responsibilities of her former role as well as aspects of payroll. Management is fully confident Ms. Gibson will assist in bringing the Human Resources Department to a new level of quality and productivity.
• Chris Baker has been promoted to Materials Manager of SeaArk Marine, Inc. With short breaks in service, he has been employed since December 1988 when he began in the Production Department. Mr. Baker was promoted to the cost estimation and BOM development department where he gained information in all areas of the materials process. He has been instrumental in developing SeaArk’s cost control strategies, material handling and inventory methods, and leading the material and production teams in the new software implementation process. Mr. Baker has been, and will continue to be, a major contributor to the success of SeaArk Marine, Inc.
• Russell Peacock was recently promoted to Quality Assurance Manager of SeaArk Marine, Inc. He began employment in the Rigging Department in January 2000. He quickly moved up to the top rigger class and was promoted to Team Leader in January 2005. Mr. Peacock has traveled extensively both domestically and abroad commissioning SeaArk’s products at delivery. Mr. Peacock leads an experienced team of inspectors through every state of vessel construction, testing and delivery. Mr. Peacock continues the traditions of high standards for this department within the SeaArk Marine, Inc. family.
• Marcus Junior recently received a promotion to Supervisor of the Paint Department at SeaArk Marine, Inc. His association with SeaArk began in July 1999 in our Welding Department as a Fitter. He was transferred to the Paint Shop in 2002 where in July 2005, Mr. Junior was promoted to Assistant Team Leader and in September 2006 to Team Leader. Due to his leadership and work ethic, Mr. Junior was the obvious choice for promotion as leader of the paint department when the supervisor of that department was promoted. On-time scheduling and quality are priorities for Mr. Junior and he has proven to be a skilled leader of this important team for SeaArk Marine, Inc.
