Focus on the aftermarket

Monday, October 15th, 2007

Ulstein Elektro is formalising its aftermarket focus through the establishment of a separate service and aftermarket division.

“In order to take care of this rapidly growing market, we now offer a separate business area called Ulstein Worldwide Services. When we deliver a system or product, we also commit ourselves to service and maintenance in order to guarantee safe and lasting product use. We provide service and adjustments to all types of maritime services as part of this offer,” says Robert Eksund, service group leader at Ulstein Elektro. The Worldwide Services division has a staff of 35.

Leading supplier
“Ulstein Elektro has built up a strong reputation as a leading supplier of electrical equipment and service. We have skilled and highly educated staff in the areas of engineering, installation, commissioning and service, which together comprise extensive expertise in maritime electronics and electronic systems. This makes us a partner to trust,” says Eksund.

Complete delivery
Ulstein Elektro’s aftermarket services include the complete delivery and service of electrical parts and equipment, engineering of all types of electro-automation systems, maintenance of systems and equipment, and inspection contracts.
