COSCO: New Orders and Deliveries

COSCO Corporation (Singapore) has announced that COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard, a subsidiary of the company’s 51 percent owned subsidiary COSCO Shipyard Group, has secured a contract from a European company to build a 152,000dwt shuttle tanker. The shuttle tanker is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter 2017.

Separately, the second option for a 21,000dwt module carrier has been taken up for COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard for a European company. The delivery of the module carrier is scheduled in the first quarter of 2017.

COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard has delivered the platform supply vessel Sunrise 1 to its buyer from Asia. The vessel measures 83.75m in LOA (length of all), 18m in breadth and 7m in depth.

COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard has delivered the bulk carrier Chios Victory to its European buyer. The carrier measures 179.99m in LOA, 30m in breadth and 14.70m in depth.
