Changes at the Top for ACB

Thursday, March 18, 2010
Aluminum Chambered Boats, Inc.'s Larry Wieber is no longer CEO but continues on the Board of Directors of the company he founded in 1998. “Larry is a great visionary, created an exceptional product, and leaves ACB with many successes which we will continue to build on,” comments Jim Moore, President/COO. Moore will continue to lead the company and is pleased to report that ACB had a record year in 2009 with a positive bottom line. “There is a bright future for ACB in all segments of our company - government, recreational, law enforcement, and commercial,” states Moore. ACB has recently been awarded two government competitive down-select contracts for the U.S. Army Bridge Erection Boat, and the U.S. Coast Guard Transportable Port Security Boat. In addition, ACB had a successful launch of its new recreational boat, the 2500 Explorer, and has delivered several law enforcement vessels to customers including Washington DC Metropolitan Police, Stratford, Connecticut Police, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife. Aluminum Chambered Boats, Inc. is an aluminum boat manufacturer headquartered in Bellingham, Washington. ACB builds patented, rugged, state-of-the-art, high performance aluminum boats for government, recreational, and commercial customers on a global basis.
