CENTA Corporation announces move to larger quarters in western Chicagoland

Thursday, July 2, 2009
Brand new facility--3 ½ times the size of former plant – contains spacious offices, larger warehouse and in-house manufacturing for couplings and shafting. CENTA Corporation (www.centa.info) has moved to a new facility in Aurora, Illinois. The new building features over 23,000 sq. ft. for office, warehouse, and manufacturing & assembly space. According to Bob Lennon, CENTA Corporation’s Director of Sales and Marketing, the new site will help the company service the significant sales growth it has experienced over the last several years, and will provide the room necessary for forecasted future growth. “The growth in demand for CENTA’s products over the last three years, and the forecast for further growth in marine, oil/gas, and wind/power generation markets made this move necessary,” says Lennon. “The new facility gives us the capacity for additional staff and added inventory to better serve our growing customer base. The in-house manufacturing capability adds to our local manufacturing initiative and further lessens our dependence on deliveries from our parent company in Germany, while lowering our exposure to global currency fluctuations.” New address: CENTA Corporation, 2570 Beverly Drive #128, Aurora, IL 60502-8588 USA New phone: +1 (630) 236-3500 New fax: +1 (630) 236-3565 info@centacorp.com www.centa.info CENTA Corporation is a division of CENTA Antriebe Kirschey GmbH, a global leader in the innovation and manufacture of flexible couplings and shafting for power transmission systems in the marine and industrial markets.
