Expansion increases unmanned aircraft operations to 1200 miles
WHAT
Commencement ceremony of CBP Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) operations from Corpus Christi Naval Air Station and launching of unmanned aircraft.
CBP UAS operations from this site will allow for the greatest support of CBP’s strategic plan to secure the shared border between Texas and Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico and will allow for the most effective execution of counter-drug operations in the Western Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
