Brian Boyce Appointed Director of Business Development

LaGuardia Airport, NY: Dr. Gene Guest, Director of MarineSafety International (MSI) announced Captain Brian F. Boyce, USN (Ret.) has been appointed the new Director of Business Development. In this position, Captain Boyce will be responsible for marketing all of MSI's training and operational research services to commercial maritime customers. Brian will replace Captain Fred Bronaugh, who has decided to retire. Captain Boyce started with MarineSafety International in 1994 as a shiphandling instructor and Bridge Resource Management (BRM) facilitator for both naval officers and commercial clients. In 1998 he became the Director of MarineSafety International's Norfolk Learning Center, serving in that capacity until his present appointment. Captain Boyce holds a BBMA in Management from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from Old Dominion University. He also has significant at-sea experience, having served as Commanding Officer of three U.S. Navy ships, and Commander, Amphibious Squadron FIVE.
