Misuga Group Appoints Capt. Herbert Soanes as CCO

Highly experienced shipping executive joins from DVB Bank to lead the Misuga Group in their next stage of growth and development.

The Misuga Group appoints Capt. Herbert Soanes as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and the Americas.

 The Misuga Group has announced today that Capt. Herbert Soanes has been named Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and the Americas. Capt. Soanes will solidify and expand the business base which encompasses a fleet of over 170 vessels. Mr. Masami Iwai, Executive Senior Managing Director, Misuga Group said “We are confident that Capt. Soanes’ wide experience and industry standing will further enhance our ability to grow our business and serve our partners in these regions.”

Capt. Soanes spent the past 10 years at DVB Bank serving most recently as Senior Vice President in their global shipping and offshore business. His prior experience includes senior roles at Manalytics International (US, UAE, Canada) and Wilh.Wilhelmsen (Norway).
