MMC Wins Lloyd's List Global Training Award

Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC), one of the world’s leading providers of quality professionals in the shipping and cruise industries, was recognized as winner of 2014 Lloyd’s List Global Award for Training. 

The award was presented to MMC for its outstanding training program through continuous improvement and investment in new facilities and training courses in compliance with international standards. With its commitment to provide quality training, Magsaysay has established Magsaysay Training Center (MTC) for the maritime and technical skills training, Magsaysay Institute of Shipping (MIS) for cadet development program, and Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) for developing world-class hospitality and culinary professionals. 

Alexander Querol, MMC Chief Operating Officer, received the prestigious award in a ceremony held in Lancaster London last September 30, 2014. MMC was also a finalist in the Corporate Social Responsibility Award category.
