Published Oct 29, 2014 1:39 PM by The Maritime Executive

H Henriksen AS has chosen SeaWork Asia in Shanghai (4-6 November) as the venue for the formal World launch of its advanced new LiftView off-load hook system. Visitors to the company’s stand (BO5) will be able to inspect the first production model of its latest development which introduces the company’s science of safety to the use of single point lift hooks when used for launching RIBs and rescue boats.

Sensors incorporated within the LiftView hook tell the operator the weight of the boat being lifted and enable a record of it lifts to be maintained for long-term condition monitoring. The new system now makes it possible to ensure that no crews will be endangered through attempts being made to lift a boat that is overloaded or filled with water.

Henriksen Hooks are manufactured in Norway and always incorporate the highest standards of Scandinavian engineering and metallurgy. Due to the company’s unblemished safety record, boat crews around the world can be reassured when they see the Henriksen name on a hook that their lives are depending on. By entering the Chinese market with the launch of this new product, customers in the region will now be able to fit their boats with hooks from a well-known manufacturer with a reputation for safety, quality and customer support. They will also gain the reassurance that comes from knowing that they are using products that have been manufactured to meet the most demanding standards of technical certification.
