HRAS Welcomes New Supporter

The Human Rights at Sea organization is delighted to welcome the support of the London based Business and Human Rights Resource Centre as an official supporting entity.

The new relationship adds weight to the work HRAS is undertaking as part of maritime corporate social responsibility development in relation to the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in co-ordination with industry, civil society and maritime organizations.

The Human Rights at Sea has also gone live with its new website: www.humanrightsatsea.org

An "Internships" section outlining the need, requirement and process for applications, as well as details of any currently available internships.
A "How can you help us?" section providing an outline of support areas and actions that can be taken in support of HRAS.
A "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)" section which is continually reviewed and updated and;
Latest "Contact" details.

HRAS founder, David Hammond, said: "It has now been six months since the launch of the initiative and we are delighted that we continue to see widening international engagement with our work. As a result, and as part of planned investment into the HRAS platform, the new website provides us with a revised, secure and well-built platform in support of our future plans".
