Published Apr 17, 2014 4:03 PM by The Maritime Executive

The Czech Republic based valve manufacturer  - ABO valve  - who is the largest producer of butterfly and check valves for industrial applications in Central Europe, obtained ABS certificate for three its butterfly valve series. The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) who issued the certificate promotes maritime safety and provides marine and offshore classification services.

The process of issuing the ABS certificate includes  3 phases  - Certificate of Design Assessment, Manufacturing Assessment and finally Type Approval Certification. ABO has successfully passed all these assessments and therefore ABS certificate now expands the collection of other ABO product certificates such as TUV, TA Luft, API 609-0068, ISO  9001, DVGW, AD 2000 Lloyd’s Register and other.

“Our constant work on different valve certificates stimulates our customers to contact us with a wide range of different applications as well as executions according to specific requirements of product certificates.
