6 October 2008 – MAN Diesel has been awarded a major order from the French energy company Electricité de France PEI SAS for the construction of three diesel power stations in its overseas Départements Réunion, Guadeloupe and Martinique, as well as one in French Guyana and two power plants on Corsica. The consortium of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) and Technip Engenharia S/A is on track to deliver the P-51 floating production unit (FPU) to Petrobras Netherlands BV (PNBV) by November 2008. The new mooring space in the Altona fishing port will be given a modern terminal building with an integrated and automated gateway. This will speed up the putting in and casting off of ships.
