Workboat Academy Graduates Ten Cadets

On Friday, November 19, 2010 ten Cadets of the Workboat Academy at Pacific Maritime Institute in Seattle finished the Academic requirements of their 2 year Program.
Once they sit for their USCG exam they will hold a 500 GRT Oceans/1600 GRT Near Coastal License.
Their Sponsoring Partner Companies, Instructors, Family and Friends were all present during the Ceremony which was held over dinner at the Maritime Event Center on Seattle’s waterfront.
The Commencement Speech was given by Scott Merritt, Senior Vice President Operations at Foss Maritime.
