Hearing on Coast Guard Readiness & Asset Modernization
The Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, chaired by Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), will hold a hearing on Wednesday to review the status of the U.S. Coast Guard’s current acquisition program to modernize its vessels, aircraft, and communications equipment.
The subcommittee hearing, entitled “Coast Guard Readiness: Examining Cutter, Aircraft, and Communications Needs,” is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
