2013 Intermodal Expo to Premiere in Houston
Registration Now Open
The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) announces today that its 2013 Intermodal Expo will take place November 17-19, 2013, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. As in previous years, the Expo will be co-located with the National Industrial Transportation League’s TransComp Exhibition and the Transportation Intermediaries Association’s Fall Meeting.
“As one of the busiest transportation hubs in the country, Houston is the perfect location for this year’s Intermodal Expo,” said Joni Casey, President and CEO of IANA. “Houston will provide a unique backdrop for three days of learning, networking, and discussion focused on the freight industry.”
Held annually since 1982, the Intermodal Expo is the largest event for the intermodal freight community, attracting more than 2,000 members, suppliers and industry stakeholders. This year’s occasion boasts over a dozen educational sessions and the latest in cutting-edge exhibits which will take over the show floor along with industry colleagues, customers, and prospects in attendance.
Registration is now open and runs through the end of the Expo. Those wishing to attend can register through the IANA Expo Registration Page. IANA members are eligible for a special members-only discount and all participants who register by September 20 will receive discounted early bird rates.
A new mobile application, sponsored by the 2014 Intermodal Expo host partner, the Port of Long Beach, is being designed to enhance attendees’ Expo experience and will be released in September.
